Our experience with designing

our homepage

It's not always easy to find the perfect solution for designing a website. Originally we hadn't planned to design our homepage ourselves. But as life sometimes goes, we had to adapt.
During our search in Nairobi we encountered some challenges. The main problems were the high costs and the lack of independence of some web designers. One quote we were given was around $100 for a standard landing page. This seemed like a fair price to us, assuming the site had been designed accordingly and we as customers wouldn't have had to do any additional work.
Unfortunately this was not the case. The web designer we considered asked too many questions about the look and feel of the website ( landing page). Markus D., a member of our team, felt that he had already laid out the basic requirements clearly and in writing. In our fast-paced society, time is a precious commodity and we didn't want to waste time with endless discussions and clarifications.
So Markus made the decision to take matters into his own hands. He found that creating a standard landing page actually only takes about an hour. This makes it an excellent option for beginners. Additionally, the site is easily expandable, giving us additional flexibility for future updates.
Ultimately, we are proud to have designed our own website. It was a learning experience and showed us that sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands to achieve the results you want.
